Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Most Unique Books I've Read

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. You can find out more about it here.

Yay! I'm finally doing this meme again! I've missed it so much! Let's begin:

Top Ten Most Unique Books I've Read
Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles, #1)             Bruiser         Unwind (Unwind, #1)

1. Cinder by Marissa Meyer
Cinderella is a cyborg? People living on the moon? Yes, give me more, please!

2. Bruiser by Neal Shusterman
A boy who can take on your pain if he loves you too much? Bittersweet story, but I was moved by the Bruiser's unselfishness.

3. Unwind by Neal Shusterman
A future where parents can "unwind" their children (basically donate their body to science, brain included....while they are still alive) NOBODY show this book to my mom! Ok?!
You            Girl, 15, Charming but Insane (Jess Jordan, #1)        Song of the Sparrow
4. You by Charles Benoit
Somehow the main character never uses the word 'I'. It's just you.

5. Girl, 15, Charming, but Insane by Sue Limb
It was ridiculously funny. I've never read something that hilarious before! lol! I should read more light-hearted books

6. Song of the Sparrow by Lisa Ann Sandell
The whole book is written as if it were a poem. It's also a retelling of King Arthur's tale :D
Annie's Song          Prom and Prejudice         Brave New World
7. Annie's Song by Catherine Anderson
A hearing-impaired girl being whisked off into marriage for a reason beyond her control finds herself "not so miserable." In historical novels, I've always seen men being painted as arrogant, conceited, and rough. The man in this story is none of those things. I think that was the biggest factor. I expected to read about a typical alpha male, but got a nice little surprise. *tear* :)

8. Prom and Prejudice by Elizabeth Eulburg
This book changed my life. It was the first retelling of Pride and Prejudice that I've ever read and I loved it so much!

9. Brave New World by Aldous Huxley
I thought this story was actually pretty brilliant because I can see all these things happening overtime. Are you sad/mad? Take Soma. Just feel good. Everybody belongs to everybody else. Only weirdos have babies the normal way. Oh, yes. I can definitely see our society.

Pride and Prejudice

10. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
Do I even need to explain this? Mr. Darcy. Mr. Darcy. Mr. Darcy. Mr. Darcy. Mr. Darcy. I have a whole blog page dedicated to finding more depictions of him in literature. Oh, in case you missed it, I'm talking about Mr. Darcy :P And, no, I'm not fangirling cause I watched the movie, I actually read the book! :)

What are some of your favorite unique books? Have you read any from my list?

Happy Browsing!

    1. lol! I love your excitement! :) Fangirls are the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D Let me know if the code works! I haven't read the second book of Unwind yet either, but that's because I'm really scared to read it! :( I feel like all my favorite people are going to die. If that happens, I will be very sad. I think I like where it left off, so I'm just going to pretend that's the end. lol!
